Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to function at all; others are optional and only tell us how the site is used.
2. Our approach
We set essential cookies as soon as you use Inviteo, because without them log-in and RSVPs cannot work. We set analytics cookies only after you accept them. Nothing analytics-related loads before you choose.
Published invitation pages carry no Inviteo analytics at all. Your guests are not tracked by us.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* (Supabase auth) | Inviteo / Supabase | Keeps you logged into the Studio and secures the session. | Essential | Up to 1 year |
| inviteo_consent | Inviteo | Remembers your cookie choice so we stop asking. | Essential | 12 months |
| ph_* (PostHog) | PostHog | Anonymous usage analytics on our marketing site. Only set if you accept. | Analytics | 12 months |
| __stripe_* (Stripe) | Stripe | Fraud prevention during checkout. Set only when you pay to publish. | Essential | Up to 1 year |
| sp_* (Spotify) | Spotify | Set by Spotify's player if a host adds a song and a guest opens the invitation. Governed by Spotify's own policy. | Third-party media | Set by Spotify |
4. Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choice at any time. It takes effect immediately and we will ask you again on your next visit.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the Studio.
